For the third consecutive week, Monday Night Football on ESPN has recorded impressive ratings numbers. The 11.5 rating for Monday's 21-7 Cowboys win over the Panthers makes the game the highest viewed cable television program for 2009.
The network publicists have been busy this week issuing press releases about ratings gains, mostly in football, so forgive me for passing along one more, from ESPN on the “Monday Night Football” doubleheader.
